Privacy Policy

1. Scope and who we are

This policy applies to Akeiy services offered through akeiy.ai and our authorized testing domains. In this policy, “Akeiy,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Akeiy service.

2. Information we collect

Account and sign-in information

When you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we receive only the information needed to authenticate and create your Akeiy account: a provider-specific account identifier and, when made available, your email address, name and profile image. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose Hide My Email.

Akeiy currently requests the standard openid, email and profile scopes. We do not request access to your Google Drive, contacts, calendar, photos, messages or Apple iCloud content through the sign-in process.

Content and service activity

We may process images, prompts, generated results, tool settings and related activity that you submit when using Akeiy. This information is used to provide the requested creative feature, maintain your history where applicable and improve service reliability.

Device, log and security information

We may collect IP address, browser and device type, request time, referring page, error records, security events and similar technical information. We use this information to operate the service, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate you and maintain your Akeiy account and session.
• Provide the tools, generated results and features you request.
• Protect accounts and detect fraud, misuse and security incidents.
• Provide support and send important service communications.
• Measure performance, troubleshoot errors and improve Akeiy.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, your consent and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Google and Apple sign-in data

Google and Apple authenticate your identity. Akeiy then creates its own secure session. Provider credentials are processed by our backend and are not placed in browser local storage or exposed to page JavaScript. We do not sell Google or Apple sign-in data or use it for targeted advertising.

Akeiy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. Cookies and session storage

We use strictly necessary cookies to sign you in and protect the authentication flow. These may include short-lived access-session, refresh-session, OAuth transaction and anti-forgery cookies. Our authentication cookies are marked HttpOnly and Secure where applicable, which prevents page scripts from reading them.

We may use temporary browser session storage to remember the Akeiy page that initiated sign-in. It is not used to store provider tokens and is removed after the login flow or when the browser tab is closed.

6. How we share information

We may share information only as necessary with:

• Google or Apple when you choose their authentication service.
• Infrastructure, hosting, storage, security and support providers acting on our instructions.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers must protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Security, transaction and support records may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your Akeiy account and associated personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. Deleting your Akeiy account does not automatically delete your Google or Apple account.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, or request a portable copy. You can also disconnect Akeiy from your Google Account permissions or stop using Sign in with Apple through your Apple ID settings.

9. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.

10. Children

Akeiy is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to Akeiy.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Akeiy or applicable law. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Questions, privacy requests and account-deletion requests may be sent to [email protected].
